I received my M. Sc. Degree in Applied Mathematics from Chalmers University of Technology/ University of Gothenburg in Sweden. My Master’s thesis was a joint industrial project between SKF factory and the university. I received my Ph.D. from the Hamilton Institute at the National University of Ireland Maynooth in Ireland. My PhD thesis was about optimizing and modelling Intelligent Transportation Systems. I collaborated and interacted with many companies during my PhD, which landed me an internship at NEC Europe LTD in Heidelberg, Germany. My job was to analyze and extract the quality of traffic data. During my Ph.D. I visited the department of Mathematics at the University of Manitoba in Canada to work on a proof. After my Ph.D., I became a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Mathematics at Simon Fraser University. I was an industrial postdoc working on scheduling the production line of Wesgar which is a factory producing metal pieces in Coquitlam, BC, Canada.
